30 Mar COVID-19 New Update
To all Northwest Dental Patients,
We want to inform you that dentistry is now considered an essential service for dental emergencies.
If you have a dental emergency, please do not come to the clinic, but contact us via phone (03) 359 8300 or email email@example.com.
If you have a dental emergency and cannot reach us during the day or over the weekend, please call the Canterbury emergency triage number 0800 846 983.
An emergency includes facial swelling, dental trauma, dental pain, or severe pain from broken fillings or teeth.
Please note, we may only be able to arrange interim treatment due to minimal use of dental aerosols. COVID-19 transmission can occur in aerosol droplets.
We will offer a triage via phone, and if it is determined that you need an urgent appointment, there will be strict procedures in place that you must adhere to should you attend the practice.
Please be aware that no one is to enter the practice building unless we have contacted you with an appointment.
Therefore, if you have any emergencies, concerns, or questions, please contact us prior on (03) 359 8300 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
We endeavour to keep our patients updated and will be sharing any new information via email, on our Google page, and our website nwdental.co.nz. Updates can be found under the ‘Latest News’ section.
If you had an appointment booked with us that has been postponed due to the COVID-19 lockdown, please be reassured that we are keeping a record of all appointments and will be in touch to reschedule once we receive clearance from the New Zealand Dental Council to reopen fully.
We thank you for your patience and support in these unprecedented times.
Keep safe and well,
The team at Northwest Dental
